Summer Associate Program
Hahn Loeser's summer associate program is designed to provide participating law students with the opportunity to really get to know the firm and our attorneys while experiencing firsthand our daily practice. Each student is assigned two attorney mentors to guide them as they work on projects for the firm's clientel, and attend events such as depositions, business transaction closings and court proceedings.
Our summer associates are provided with feedback throughout the course of the summer, both on a per-project basis, as well as through a mid-summer evaluation. Hahn Loeser is committed to our students' success, and uses these reviews to help the participants improve their developing legal skills as much as possible. Additionally, we accept only the number of second-year students that we anticipate needing for the following year's class of new associates.
Outside of the office, we hold several social events every summer to allow our summer associates to get to know our attorneys and each other better in a more relaxed setting. Our calendar of events changes each year, but typically includes a Welcome Happy Hour, a Cleveland Indians baseball game, events with our Columbus and Akron offices, and spontaneous get-togethers throughout the summer months.
