The verdict, following a seven week trial, included an award of $6.3 million in compensatory damages and $35 million in punitive damages.

• Steve Goldfarb and Andrew Pollis led a team from the Firm's litigation area in representation of Chicago Title Insurance Co. in a noncompete case, resulting in a jury verdict of $43 million, which included a punitive damage award of $32.4 million - one of the largest such awards in the history of Ohio (vacated punitive damages award and remanding for a new trial on compensatory damages).

• Steve Chappelear was awarded the Bar Service Medal by the Columbus Bar Association for his dedicated service to local, state and national bar associations.
