Currently, most full-time
associates are required to produce at least 1,800
billable hours of work per year. This amount varies
by practice area. In general, our associates average
approximately 1,900 billable hours annually. In
addition, associates are expected to participate in
some level of non-billable activities, such as
development, training and Firm administration. Given
that each associate’s career path is unique, we do
not set hourly goals or otherwise attempt to
quantify an associate’s non-billable commitment.
