Our Culture

At Hahn Loeser, we celebrate the unique qualities of each individual who joins us. The varied backgrounds of our attorneys reflect the firm's tradition of diversity, fuel the development of a full-service practice, and enrich the day-to-day interaction among our attorneys and with our clients. Because the associates we hire are the leaders of their class from leading regional and national law schools, we do not hide them in the library. Our associates know the excitement of the big case, and learn in the most effective way by accepting responsibility for significant projects from the beginning of their careers, working directly with seasoned partners, senior associates and clients.

To ensure the long-term success of both the firm and its attorneys, our associates learn the process by which a law firm becomes financially successful. Associates are guided and encouraged to cultivate business development skills with the long-term goal of attracting new clients or additional business from existing clients. The firm's officers meet annually with all associates to share proprietary information regarding the firm's performance for the preceding year and projections for the future.

Our attorneys can sharpen their leadership skills outside the office while at the same time fulfilling their responsibility to their profession and respective communities. As a result, our attorneys can be found at all levels of leadership in bar associations, civic organizations and nonprofits. Our attorneys frequently engage in pro bono legal activities and many other volunteer projects.

"We celebrate that we are friendly and courteous to our colleagues and coworkers; but never mistake our relaxed atmosphere for laxity in our legal work. We take our work very seriously, but not ourselves."

- Lawrence E. Oscar, CEO
