Biography

Jeffrey A. Brauer represents clients in state and federal court with an emphasis in complex commercial litigation. His experience includes contract disputes, business torts, securities, intellectual property, product liability and healthcare. Jeff also represents owners and general contractors in a variety of construction-related matters.

In 2009, Jeff was awarded the Statewide Community Service Award for Attorneys 40 and Under by the Ohio State Bar Foundation. The Community Service Award is presented to attorneys, 40 years of age or younger, who contribute substantial time and effort in service to a local social service, or a local civic, artistic or cultural organization. It is given to honorees in each of the OSBA Districts, and the statewide award recipient is chosen from these district honorees. In 2008, Jeff was awarded the District Community Service Award for Cuyahoga County.

Among his other accomplishments, Jeff is listed in the 2005-07 lists of "Ohio Rising Stars" by Ohio Super Lawyers. He is also AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell, its highest available rating for legal ability and professional ethics.

Jeff is admitted to practice law in Illinois and Ohio, and before the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, the Northern and Central Districts of Illinois, the Eastern District of Michigan, and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit.
