Biography
Erica L. Calderas has significant experience representing corporations of varying size in complex commercial cases and creditors' rights litigation in state and federal trial and appellate courts. The litigation matters she has worked on have involved a wide variety of legal issues, including: contracts, antitrust, securities law, fraud, insurance bad faith, patent infringement, environmental law, franchise law, tort claims, business torts, products liability, bankruptcy, foreclosure, replevin, compliance with government regulations, and election disputes.
Erica also represents owners, general contractors, subcontractors, and materials suppliers, in a variety of construction-related matters. She has significant experience in all types of construction projects throughout Ohio and the United States, including alternative dispute resolution and litigation.
Erica, a member of Hahn Loeser's board of directors, is listed in the 2005-07 lists of "Ohio Rising Stars" by Ohio Super Lawyers. She is proficient in Spanish.
Erica is admitted to practice law in Ohio, the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio, the Eastern District of Michigan, and the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
