Biography
Arthur M. Kaufman is an experienced litigator and a frequent speaker on a number of legal topics, including franchising, insurance and ethics.
Art’s experience includes an in-depth knowledge of franchise and distributorship law, insurance coverage, class action law and general commercial litigation. He has experience in trials, arbitrations and alternative dispute resolution and represented a major licensor of a variety of trade and service marks for hotels, real estate agencies, automobile rentals, tax preparation services.
Art has also counseled a national distributor of office computer and billing systems in a dispute regarding terminations of distributorship and non-competition agreements.
Art is listed in the 2010 & 2011 editions of The Best Lawyers in America in the category of Insurance Law, and in the 2007-10 editions of Ohio Super Lawyers. Art is AV Rated by Martindale-Hubbell, its highest available rating for legal ability and professional ethics.
